Wednesday 13

After the Murderdolls went on hiatus in 2004, Joseph Poole (p.k.a. Wednesday 13) went on a solo tour of the United Kingdom in March 2004, called the "Graveyard A Go-Go" tour. For his live performances he was joined by members of Florida horror punk band Death Becomes You, though this was not meant to be permanent.

Over the next few months he began to put together a more permanent band, with whom he would perform with under the Wednesday 13 name, bringing in the former Frankenstein Drag Queens member Ikky on guitar. The band are heavily influenced by KISS and Alice Cooper, while at the same time not straying far from Poole's previous horror punk related projects. The Wednesday 13 band toured Europe at the end of 2004 on the "Look What the Bats Dragged In" tour, which was quickly followed by the release of their debut album 'Transylvania 90210'. They have since released three full-length albums split by several EPs. The most recent release was 'Calling All Corpses’, which was mastered by Tom Baker at Precision Mastering, who has worked with Artists such as Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, Rob Zombie and Ministry.

Wednesday 13’s new album ‘The Dixie Dead’ will be out next month.
