Hot production duo Adam Deitch and Eric Krasno met at Berklee College of Music in the early 90's and have been making music together ever since. When at home The Fyre Dept spend most of their time in the studio writing and producing music in many different styles from Hip-Hop and Soul to Pop, Jazz and everywhere in between. "Our vision was to combine real live instrumentation with modern sounds to create records that are current but timeless." says Eric Krasno. Adam and Eric combine to play more than six different instruments including drums, bass, guitar and keyboards, which sets them apart from many other producers. Recently, their sound has been noticed by many of today’s top artists. The Fyre Dept have produced 50 Cent, Talib Kweli, Norah Jones and Justin Timberlake and the list continues to grow Current highlights include producing two songs for Ledisi’s latest Verve release Turn Me Loose and “Stuggla” on Matisyahu’s critically acclaimed Light. FD is also producing the debut record for the up and coming Bajah and the Dry Eye Crew from Sierra Leone which features guest spots from K’Naan, Questlove and others. Now with their own state of the art recording studio in NYC, Deitch and Krasno’s focus is on writing and producing today’s top acts and developing new talent. You can also hear the FD’s music in the hit MTV reality shows Gotti’s Way and G’s to Gents.
